Important Dates: May 26, Toastmaster Leadership Institute

The first Toastmaster Leadership Institute for 2007 – 2008 will run on Saturday afternoon, May 26, at the Glencairn Neighbourhood Centre, 2626 Dewdney Ave E., Regina

Please register with Donna Skene by May 23.
Division Governor David Bartolf has sent registration information to current Area Governors and current Club Officers.

All Toastmasters are welcome, with Incoming Club Officers especially welcome.

This training contributes to the Distinguished Club Program. Having at least four Incoming Club Officers attend counts as the first half DCP goal #9: Four Officers trained in summer period and four in winter.

If a Club has seven out of seven Club Officers trained two periods in a row, the Club earns a snazzy ribbon to add to their banner.

Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) is open to ALL MEMBERS.

Club Executives who understand their duties and trade ideas with other members have more FUN and have an easier path to having a successful Club.

This training is a requirement for Advanced Competent Leader Bronze award.

This training offers a great opportunity for networking. Meet fellow Toastmasters from around Southern Saskatchewan.

Club Protocol – questions on “what to do?” or how to handle a sticky situation? Come out and hear David Bartolf
Are your Table Topics in a rut? Attend this breakout session for new ideas

2:05 – 2:55 Session TWO

When you are President – required for all club Presidents
When you are Secretary – required for all club Secretaries
Add FUN and EXCITEMENT to your membership building contests. Learn how to “hang on” to those valuable current members
What color is right for you? Come out and learn how to “Color your Words”

3:00 – 3:50 Session THREE

When you are VP Membership – required for all club VP Membership
When you are VP Public Relations – required for all club VP Public Relations
